Snap Fitness Truro became the latest club to launch in-line with the global 24/7 gym franchise’s new, boutique-style club design, when it opened in October 2024. The franchise owner wanted to create a best in class training environment for members, and partnered with Life Fitness to make the vision a reality.

Franchise owner Mark Williams spotted a gap in the market for fitness facilities in the local area, and chose his home city of Truro, Cornwall, to open Snap Fitness. With limited local competition, the gym needed to serve a wide range of members – from first-time gym goers to experienced fitness enthusiasts.

Snap Fitness Truro was also one of the latest clubs to launch with the gym brand’s new premium boutique-style club design, a concept that was first rolled out at Snap Fitness Fareham in partnership with Life Fitness.

The vision for Snap Fitness Truro was to deliver the best possible training environment for its members, with every element of the club’s design carefully considered.

Cardio equipment from the Life Fitness Integrity+ cardio series was chosen, with each piece featuring 24” Discover SE4 consoles to create unmatched workout experiences for users.

The large functional training area supports the gym’s aim to create a sense of community and support for all its members, with Life Fitness’ SYNRGY180 Training System doubling up as a functional training rig and wall-adjacent accessory storage unit, enabling individual, instructor-led and small group workouts.

Driven by performance STRENGTH EQUIPMENT THAT GETS RESULTS

The gym features a range of Hammer Strength plate-loaded equipment, with custom upholstery to match the brand’s colours. Combo racks from the HD Athletic NX range have also been configured to maximise space and offer a wide range of training options, helping members get results.

Additionally, this facility included four Dual Adjustable Pulleys with Stabilization, offering an unparalleled cable training experience. These pulleys feature Life Fitness’ patented adjustable stability pad, providing essential support during critical movements.

I looked at a range of equipment suppliers and, across the board, Life Fitness came good with everything. The walkthrough video brought my vision to life, and in working with them, I know that our facility will be keeping up with trends and offers something different to most other 24 hour gyms.
