RADIO BUTTONS
Use radio buttons when there is a list of two or more choices and when you want the user to only be able to select one choice. When a user clicks a non-selected radio button, it will deselect whatever other button was previously selected in the list. For LifeFitness.com, these lists are presented vertically, with one choice per line.

CHECKBOXES
Use checkboxes when you display a list of choices and when you want the user to be able to select any number of checkboxes (including zero, 1, or several boxes). Checkboxes are independent of each other, so when a user selects one checkbox, it does not affect (in other words, uncheck) the other boxes.
